Only an hour and a half away from home we discovered a peaceful place. We were chasing the sun and some restful Sunday time, we ended up finding a mountain chic inspired hotel with a great spa.
The venue is located in the central part of the Adelboden village. Since the check-in we could easily feel the relax mood that would follow us all day long.
Entrances to the spa are limited in order to offer the guests the most quiet environment. The interior design of the spa is in harmony with the one you find in the lobby and makes you feel in a truly cosy place.
The outdoor pool faces the mountain which allows you to take a deep breath, get inspired by the environment and enjoy a real self care moment.
The relaxing area is located in front of the main window, it gives you the chance to sunbath even in November. That’s the mountain magic 😉
We enjoyed a light lunch at the Bar, while admiring the great landscape : an Axe Platte with local ham, cheese, salad and chutney (Can’t tell you how good that chutney was by the way! ) and a real Burrata with Salad. The restaurant brought me hot fresh gluten free bread- this is of course a fundamental detail now for me and I much appreciated this Team’s readiness to face an unexpected client’s need.
To end perfectly the day, we rewarded ourselves with a couple massage. We opted for an Aromatherapy Massage made in a double bed spa room. The ambiance was calm and pleasant.
The 2 massage therapists made us choose our oils. I went for Ylang-Ylang which is very strong and has the capacity to make you travel and unplug for a while; and my husband opted for Eucalyptus which allowed him to breath more deeply and let the tensions go. After we lied down on the beds, some drops of the oil we choose were placed in a small bowl under our noses. This brought us all massage long a light but always present smell of the fragrance and emphasized the sensations.
The both massages were very well realized and we enjoyed a deeply relaxing moment that prepared us to better embrace the new week to come.
Therefore guys, I strongly recommend all the mountain and spa lovers among you (and not only) to visit this place which will give you the chance to enjoy a very special moment.
